Accredited Home Elevator, a busy and growing residential elevator installation company, is actively seeking new team members for the role of Elevator Mechanic Assistant to join our growing New Jersey installation team.

You do not need specific experience installing elevators. Our Elevator Mechanic Assistant program provides mentoring, training, and hands on experience in the field to obtain the knowledge and experience needed to become an Elevator Installation Mechanic.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced mechanics with loading and unloading of tools and equipment, participate in assembly and installation of elevator equipment while learning the installation and service procedures for each type of elevator to become an elevator mechanic.

Successful candidates will:

· Enjoy working with their hands.

· Find satisfaction in solving mechanical problems.

· Have an interest in electricity and electronics.

· Be comfortable on a construction site.

· Not be afraid of heights.

· Demonstrate the desire to learn and follow procedures and techniques needed to comply with elevator codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to climb up and down both stairs & ladders repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Experience with both hand and power tools of the construction trade.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Accredited Home Elevator is currently seeking a highly motivated full-time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Team Member. As an employee with Accredited Home Elevator, you will be part of a select team that is dedicated to handling a verity of daily tasks at our NJ based manufacturing facility located in Egg Harbor Township.

Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of job duties:
Driver Requirements:

  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • You must have a minimum of 1+ years’ experience driving a commercial vehicle (examples: cargo van, 20′ box truck and or straight truck)
  • You must have a valid and clean driver’s license and/or NO at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years (note: a CDL is NOT required)
  • You must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, kneel and lift 75+ Lbs.

Delivery Team Responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload trucks at the warehouse and job site
  • Manage electronic device for delivery invoicing
  • Receive and submit orders each day
  • Must have strong communication and positive relationship skills with customers / vendors / Co-workers
  • Maintain a clean truck (NO Smoking environment).

Warehouse Team Member Requirements / Responsibilities include:

  • Must always Keep a clean and safe working environment
  • Identify and report any discrepancies on orders
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain preventive warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Prepare goods for shipment.
  • Pack goods by following a specific set of instructions.
  • Prepare and load packages for delivery.
  • Check to ensure product is damage free.
  • Verify if items pulled for delivery are accurate.
  • Wrap, seal, label, and load goods for delivery.
  • Move completed packages to the loading area.
  • Excellent organization-strong attention to details
  • Completes reports by entering required information.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, kneel and lift 75+ Lbs.

Job Description

Assembly Applicants Responsibilities:

  • Work in a manufacturing and shop environment to perform mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Follow technical instructions and direction.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Once assemblies are learned, will be able to perform repeatedly.
  • Apply any stickers, labels, safety signs to completed assemblies.
  • Assemble fabricated parts to complete bill of material.
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Keep a clean, safe and well-maintained workspace.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Wrap, seal, and label goods.
  • Move completed packages to the loading area.
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, kneel and lift 75+ Lbs.
  • Must have basic mechanic ability
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools a plus

Warehouse Team Member Applicants Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders for delivery according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, & ship)
  • Pull cables and wires to length; cut and wrap for packaging.
  • Prepare goods for shipment.
  • Pack goods by following a specific set of instructions.
  • Prepare and load packages for delivery.
  • Verify if items pulled for delivery are accurate.
  • Wrap, seal, label and load goods for delivery.
  • Move completed packages to the loading area.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Accredited Home Elevator is a rapidly growing elevator manufacturing & installation company based in Barnegat, NJ. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated cabinet maker or carpenter with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to work in our manufacturing facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Have knowledge & experience of woodworking machinery i.e. (panel saw, table saw, drill press, and chop saw, hand tools and power tools).
  • Experience with cutting wood to specified dimensions and measurements, (working experience / carpenter / trim).
  • Ability to read tape measure, scale, engineering drawings and shop orders.
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks, walls and doors for elevator cabinets.
  • Apply technical skills and knowledge to cut elevator cabs (cabinet/walls) assemblies.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational and communication skills to interact effectively with other people inside the team.
  • Follow company safety protocols.
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs.)
  • Stand for long hours.
